Yes...the Tax Rate in the US...SUCKS!!!
I Earned a tad more than $14000.....but have to pay $595.00.

Update: My employer thought I was claiming 2 instead of just single old me. It has been corrected so next year I may not have this shock when I file my taxes.

I equate myself to this strong female Northern Cardinal who faces surprises every day...I will survive this setback that was a major surprise and learn from our native birds.
However....I still feel the tax rate is not fair for folks like me.

DeleteWE can correct this....BY getting those RICH GOP's outta the Senate and House..they are obstructing progress and change. THEY whinned like crazy when it was time to take away the welfare for the rich tax but drag their heels when its time to help the PEOPLE who pay their Salaries--We have to take Washington back its the only way.

DeleteThere is definitely a need for a new system. I was listening to my son complain the other day about his return. He doesn't have to pay but he's not getting back much yet his friend who only payed in a couple hundred dollars is getting back 3000.00 just because she has a kid.

I've always thought maybe a retail sales tax would be the best way. Then we would only have to pay tax when we spent money, and we wouldn't have to deal with it after that.
