I knew that I was going to have a less than super-duper bird count due to the warm temps. I did enjoy seeing my usual visitors. Here are the pictorial highlights...
Female Northern Cardinal with American Goldfinch in the background
Carolina Wren
This was my mystery birds...well not really. I "thought they were Cedar Waxwings but wasn't sure until I uploaded the close-up pictures on my laptop.
Here's the proof !
Not the best photo but a great addition to my Bird Count!
I LOVE BIRD WATCHING!

ReplyDeleteThanks Sallie, I agreed that seeing Cedar Waxwings makes for a very magical day!!!
DeleteThe camera is great for bird ID. Lots of the far away ones would be unknown if it weren't for a zoom lens.
ReplyDeleteThe Zoom digital camera has been a boon for bird watchers!
DeleteI miss bird watching. My bird nerd days are temporarily over since I started working full time. Great shots.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on the job! I like how you said "temporarily over".
DeleteMy birding time has been drastically reduced due to work as well. Bummer...but it is temporary.:)
