Last Friday morning a Hawk which I feel is an immature Sharp-Shinned. He visited again yesterday. What is odd is that this fellow landed in my bird bath both times. I have never had one do this before!

Now for a closer look at this magnificent bird. Left click on the pictures to enlarge.

Sharp-Shinned Hawks' main prey is smaller birds. It was funny that a few songbirds ignored him yesterday and kept right on visiting the feeders. A Blue Jay fussed at him from the tree next to the bird bath...until he left.  I reckon they knew he was only thirsty....not hungry.

Peace, Health, Wealth, and Love to ALL!
